James, really glad to have you as a student! One of the great things about the regional lessons is that those forms of speech are not exclusive, but particular… I think listening to them all will give you a well-rounded introduction to Spanish as it’s actually spoken.

But remember, there are actually 4 Newbie Lessons per week, since added to the 2 core curriculum Newbie Lessons are the Peruvian and Iberian Regional Lessons, which are at the Newbie Level.
