In this lesson, you'll learn how to respond to the common question How old are you? In Spanish this is
Javier: ¿Qué edad tienes?
The first word in the question is
Javier: qué
Jessi: meaning what in English.
Javier: (Slow, by syllable) qué
Jessi: Listen again and repeat.
Javier: qué

Jessi: This pattern of first introducing a word at natural speed, providing the translation, breaking it down, and then giving it again at natural speed will be repeated throughout the series. Try to speak aloud as often as possible. The next word in the question is
Javier: edad
Jessi: meaning age.
Javier: (Slow, by syllable) edad
