In this lesson, you'll learn how to talk about health problems in Spanish through a quick conversation.
Let's look at the dialogue.
As you listen, pay attention to how they ask about the topic and how the other person responds.
Lucas, no te ves bien.
¿Qué te pasa?
Me duele la cabeza.
También me duele el estómago.
¿Tienes fiebre?
No lo sé.
Entonces, ¿quieres ir a casa?
Sí, eso voy a hacer.
Let's hear it with the English translation.
Lucas, no te ves bien.
¿Qué te pasa?
"Lucas, you don't look well.
What's wrong?"
Me duele la cabeza.
También me duele el estómago.
"My head hurts.
My stomach hurts too."
After that is the focus statement.
¿Tienes fiebre?
"Do you have a fever?"
This starts with the verb, tienes, meaning "you have." Tienes (enunciated). Tienes.
Next is the noun, fiebre, meaning "fever." Fiebre (enunciated). Fiebre.
