Thank you for that explanation of "aquel" and "eso."

Hi Prawet,

Thank you for posting.

You are right, there is a difference between the words "eso" and "aquello", the word aquello can be translated as: that, over there. Since it is used while talking about something far from the speaker and the listener.

While the word "eso" - that, refers to something close to the listener and far from the speaker.

Please, let me know if it is clear now.

Gracias!

In the writing exercise the word eso and aquello should be translated differently. When I did the exercise the first round I got both wrong because there is no distinction in the exercise. That should be corrected.

Hola :)

Just a quick one. In the Writing Review there are two "That" questions. I got them both "wrong" because of the order that they were added in. But there was no way for me to know which "that" was being referred to (ie near or far away).

So I got 50% for the test. Just something that perhaps your developers should look at specifying within the questions :)

Hola Zoe,

Thank you for your comment!

"aquello" mean "that" (away from both of us)

I'm sorry, I think I spoke before my turn. esto= this, eso= that. But what is the difference between eso and aquello?
