Are you saying that regido/regida re really adjectives and thus have a masculine and feminine form? Or are you saying that all participles have both a masculine "ido" and feminine "ida" form but usually only the "ido" form is listed in the verb conjugation or referenced in the dictionary?

Hola Esteban,

No, you can use both regida/regido depending of the noun.

"la isla" is femenina so we use "regida"

"el paรญs" is masculine so we use "regido"

eg.

"La isla es regida por el alcalde"

"El paรญs es regido por su gobernador."

Example from expanded vocab section:

Esa isla era regida por Francia.

"That island was governed by France."

I cannot find :"regida" in the online Spanish dictionary? Is this a typo and really should be the participle "regido"?
