Becky: Last is the word meaning “is” |
Laura: [Normal] es [Slow] es |
Becky: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the question meaning “Who is it?” |

Becky: Now, if you are aware that there is more than one person out there, here’s the way to ask, “Who are they?” |

Laura: If someone knocks at your door, the most common expression we use in Mexico is ¿Quién? which means “who?” If you are the one knocking, just answer with your name, unless they are familiar with your voice, then you can just say - “It’s me.” |
