First you’ll see an image and hear a question.
Next comes a short dialogue.
Listen carefully and see if you can answer correctly.
We’ll show you the answer at the end.

Hola Esteban,

"le" is an indirect object pronoun, you could put the "le" out and the sentence would mean the same. But "le" can also emphasis the action of the sentence.

The first sentence in the script is

Un hombre le está hablando a una clínica por teléfono.

Would you tell me what purpose "le" has in the sentence? Would the sentence have the same meaning without "le"? Does "le" refer to "a una clinica"?

Hola Ray,

Thank you for your comment.

The sentence "¿Hasta qué hora están abiertos hoy?" is translated / equivalent in English to: What time do you close today?

It is not a direct translation but the meaning is the same. There are questions such as this one that cannot be translated literally,

another example is: ¿Qué hora es? - What time is it? [the word "hora" means hour. the word time in Spanish is "tiempo"]

Doesn't abiertos translate as "open"? Doesn't "¿Hasta qué hora están abiertos hoy?" translate as "Until what time are you open?" instead of "What time do you close?"
