Lesson Transcript

Hi everyone, I’m Gabriella, how are your Spanish listening skills?
In this video you’ll have a chance to test them out with a quiz.
First you’ll see an image and hear a question.
Next comes a short dialogue.
Listen carefully and see if you can answer correctly.
We’ll show you the answer at the end.
Are you ready?
Un maestro y un estudiante están hablando.
¿Cuándo irá el estudiante a la oficina del maestro?
En realidad, yo no entendí todo lo que vimos hoy en clase.
Seguro, ¿Tienes alguna pregunta?
Sí, tengo muchas. ¿Usted tiene tiempo ahorita?
Estoy un poco ocupado ahora mismo. Por favor, ven a mi oficina en la tarde. Estaré ahí de una a cuatro de la tarde.
Está bien, estaré ahí a las 2 de la tarde.

Hola Rock,

Thank you for your comment.

The "V" sound is there, the thing is that sometimes we don't enunciate properly and it can sound as it isn't pronounced.

Remember you can use the speed tool to listen carefully.

Sigamos practicando!

Saludos,

Carla

When the speaker says:

"En realidad, yo no entendí todo lo que vimos hoy en clase"

she does not pronounce the v sound in vimos. Therefore it sounds like

"En realidad, yo no entendí todo lo que ímos hoy en clase"

This was tough for me. I got it right but I need to work on the future tense of words.
