Eric: Anna, what's our first expression?
Anna: guay
Eric: It’s a slang expression that can mean "cool,” or “great." And you can find it in almost every colloquial chat.
Anna: [SLOW] guay [NORMAL] guay
Eric: Listeners, please repeat.

Eric: Use this slang expression when you want to express that something is good in a more effusive way.
Eric : Now let's hear an example sentence.
Anna: [NORMAL] Qué estuche más guay, ¿dónde lo has comprado? [SLOW] Qué estuche más guay, ¿dónde lo has comprado?
Eric: "What a cool pencil case, where did you buy it?"

Anna: buenas
Eric: literally meaning "good." But when it's used as a slang expression it means "hi,” or “hey."

Eric: Use this slang expression when you want to say "hello" in a more colloquial way.
Eric : Now let's hear an example sentence.

Eric: "Hi! How are you doing?"
Anna: [NORMAL] ¡Buenas! ¿Cómo te va?
Eric: Okay, what's our next expression?
Anna: majo
Eric: literally meaning "nice." But when it's used as a slang expression it can have different meanings such as "nice,” “good-looking” or “hot."
Anna: [SLOW] majo [NORMAL] majo

Eric: Use this slang expression when you’re referring to someone who is nice to you. But depending on the tone, it could have a good or bad meaning. If you're using it to say something is good, it could be to refer to somebody who is good-looking. But if you use it in a bad way, with a rude tone, it's derogatory.

Anna: [NORMAL] Está bien majo el nuevo entrenador. [SLOW] Está bien majo el nuevo entrenador.
Eric: "The new trainer is quite hot."

Eric: literally meaning "pimp." But when it's used as a slang expression it means "cool,” or “fancy ."

Eric: Use this slang expression when you describe something that you like. Usually for describing things, not people. Some people change the word to

Eric: to make it sound more cute.
