Usamos palos para cocinar nubes. - We use sticks to cook marshmallows.


Isn't nubes clouds? The reading even says nubes, which is clouds. Do they say clouds because marshmallows look like clouds? Google tells me that the Spanish word for marshmallows is Malvaviscos.

"We have flashlights in our car for emergencies."

A question about the word linterna. Is that specific just to 'flashlight' or is it a more general word for light, lantern, etc.?
