Gina: And welcome to Culture Class Essential Spanish Vocabulary, Lesson 3! In this lesson you'll learn five essential words related to food and drink. These are five popular Peruvian beverages, hand picked. You can find a complete list of vocabulary at SpanishPod101.com.

Pisco is an alcoholic drink made from the distillation of certain grapes. It’s only produced in some coastal cities of Peru and it’s been declared a representative product of the country. Nowadays, there is dispute among Peru and Chile regarding to whom it belongs.
