| Today, I have a challenge for you guys, and the challenge is the following. |
| Try to reply with another word different to “sí”, to every question that Efraín says. |
| I'm going to do this challenge with you guys, so let's get started. |
| “Aquí dice que estudiaste en la Universidad de México” |
| “Por supuesto”. |
| “Estuviste trabajando cuatro años para la empresa Aforavit”. |
| “Totalmente”. |
| “En tu currículum también dice que hablas francés”. |
| “Claro”. |
| (speaks French) |
| “También dice que dominas en un 50 % o más el alemán”. |
| “Seguro. Ja, natürlich”. |
| “Guau”. |
| “Por otro lado, también dice que tú tienes un coeficiente intelectual de 120 puntos”. |
| “Sin duda”. |
| “Entonces, ¿te parece bien que mañana comamos pizza?” |
| “Vale”. |
| “OK. Pero nos vamos a levantar temprano”. |
| “Cuenta con ello”. |
| “Y mañana me vas a acompañar a ver a Katia”. |
| “Me parece bien”. |
| So, how did you do, guys? Hopefully you did a great job. As you can see in this skit I used several synonyms of the word “sí”. If this is the only word that you know you need to change it, because we have tons and tons of synonyms of this word. |
| And in this video, we're going to show you the most common ones, the 10 most common ones. |
| So, as you know, my name is Diego. |

| Guys, we can divide “sí” into two categories. |
| Number one, for agreeing or reinforcing. |
| For example: |
| “Efraín, tu playera es muy bonita”. |
| “Gracias”. |
| “Sí, es muy bonita”. |
| And number two, for agreeing to an offer. |
| For example: |
| “Efraín, ¿quieres ir por una pizza?” |
| “Sí”. |
| As you can see here, yes, you can use it or “sí”, you can use it into two categories. |
| And we're going to give you some synonyms depending on the category. |
| Now, let's get started with reinforcing or agreeing. |
| Number one. |
| Claro. Claro. Of course. |
| “¿Trabajas aquí?” |
| “Claro”. |
| Yeah, here in my house. |
| Okay, number two. |
| Por supuesto. Por supuesto. Of course. |
| For example: |
| “¿Oye, y ya tienes novia, Efraín?” |
| “Por supuesto… que no”. |

| “Absolutamente”. |
| The next one. |

| “¿Tienes dinero que me prestes?” |
| “Sin duda, ¿Cuánto quieres? ¿Cinco pesos? |
| Sí, cinco. |

| Okay, and the last one is: |
| Seguro. Sure. Seguro. Sure. |
| “No me cae bien Manuel, es muy engreído y es además muy grosero, ¿no lo crees?” |
| “Seguro”. |
| Now we're going to see some other synonyms of the word “sí”, but now in this case for agreeing |
| to an offer. And why are they different? Because when you give an offer, the other person can |
| either accept it by saying “sí” or decline it by saying “no”. |
| So let's get started. |

| For example: |
