You just need to get your makeup on now, and of course your friend brought everything she owns because she can never make up her mind what to wear! She has some nice stuff here… Suddenly she yells in Spanish, “Be careful! Your skin is hypersensitive!” Man, she sounds like your mom! You snap back in Spanish, “Do you think I’m dense? I grabbed the hypoallergenic stuff! Calm down!” Rolling her eyes as she goes back to doing her own makeup, you realize she is putting it on a bit heavy… You very matter-of-factly tell her in Spanish, “You know, in olden days women wore very little makeup….” She quips back angrily in Spanish, “Women in olden days didn’t have all this makeup to choose from…or pictures that make you look pale either, did they!?” In a very calm voice, you reply in Spanish, “I’m sorry…you are too paranoid! You look beautiful.”
