Learn Spanish with Spanishpod101.com! Hmm..two weeks later. You know, a lot can happen in two weeks. Seems to me Adolfo is about to find out just how much! Carlos and Natalia are here to weigh in with their opinion as always. Trust us, it is an entertaining one. How is your grasp of “the voseo”? Vos is not used in every Spanish speaking country but it is used in enough to make it worthwhile to learn. If you have any problems with vos, after this lesson you won’t have any. Especially when you check out the premium audio track tarea. How do you expect to improve if you don’t do your homework?

I’m dying to know where this story is going!
Regarding partas (partir), can this be used as a synonym for salir? Based on the example in the PDF, it would seem so.
Which would mean these two sentences are equal…?
¡no partas, vos! (don’t you leave!) = ¡ no salgas, vos)!

good observation, and remember that the “part-” of “partir” is the same as the “part” of “depart”, so it is an act of leaving.

You two are hilarious. I took a lot of Spanish in high school and college and want to brush up, but this is much more fun than school. More like a telenovela, no? I download it to my phone and study while I exercise or clean house. Mucho mas interesante.
